The Telaga Waja River is located in Muncan Village, Rendang, Karang Asem Regency, which can be reached about 1,5 to 2 hours from Kuta area.
When Mount Agung erupted, the Telaga Waja River became a river filled with cold lava flows so that the river was full of rocks.
That caused currently the water flow the river becomes very clear because there is no silt.

Water rafting on the TELAGA WAJA RIVER is a fantastic trip that will never be forgotten, the village atmosphere is still natural, views of green rice fields, and very challenging river currents to drive your adrenaline. One of the challenging obstacles that has become the water rafting icon on the Telaga Waja river is the 4 meter high rapids from the Bajing Dam, very challenging.
Water rafting on the Telaga Waja river is the longest rafting route in Bali, around 14-16 Km and takes about 2-3 hours.
